San Juan Capistrano Car Show | Feb. 1, 2020
Calling all cars, calling all cars! There will be a chance to show off your vehicles be them new cars, classic cars, or vehicles on two wheels. The hosts of the show are expecting 400 antique and classic cars and trucks to attend the event. There will also be a “New-Car Row” for all of the latest cars to be shown off as well. The event is pet and kid-friendly. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children with the event starting at 9 am. However, you will need to check in at 7:30 am if you plan on registering your car for the show.
Taste of San Juan | Feb. 6, 2020
The San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association is hosting its annual Taste of San Juan event. This event is meant to kick off the celebration of Fiesta de las Golondrinas. There will be 25 different restaurants all under one roof, showcasing the best they have to offer. You will get a chance to walk around and try food from each booth, enjoy live music, and so much more. But the best part is that the tickets are only $40 and include your tastings! There is also a VIP option that costs $60 and includes valet parking, a tasting cup, and a swag bag.
The Kid’s Pet Parade | Feb. 15, 2020
The Kid’s Pet Parade is the second event that is part of the Fiesta de las Golondrinas. This event is for the whole family. However, only kids between the ages of 5 and 12 can show off their favorite pets. There will be awards given for the cutest, the most unusual, best team costume, the funniest, and the most obedient pets. There will also be the first place prize called the “Judges Choice” award. The winner of the Judges Choice award will be given the chance to be in the Swallow’s Day Parade. There is a $5 entry fee and the event starts at 10 am.
Mission Art Walk | Feb. 28, 2020
There are many February 2020 things to do in San Juan Capistrano. However, the San Juan Capistrano Mission is one of the most historic and iconic things to see in the city. That rich history will be on display during the Mission Art Walk. You will get a chance to see an art collection of rare paintings that are related to the Mission’s history. The tour takes you through the Serra Chapel, Spanish Colonial Room, and the Mission Treasures Exhibit. This event happens every Friday at Mission San Juan Capistrano.
