Fruit for breakfast provides vitamins and nutrients that help our bodies in many ways throughout the day. So, if every breakfast should have fruit in some capacity, why not just enjoy breakfast smoothies instead?

What are breakfast smoothies? We’ve all heard about green smoothies or detox smoothies, even breakfast shakes. All the above can be considered a breakfast smoothie.

Breakfast serves many different purposes but most importantly we want it to provide us with the energy we need to get through the first part of the day. While a plate of pancakes, drenched in syrup sounds amazing, it isn’t exactly the breakfast of champions. (Unless … they are our protein pancakes, found right here!)
