Fighting the cravings starts before the cravings come, in the meal. You can’t eat avocado with every single meal; avocado and oats don’t sound too good together. But you can include it more frequently.

The goal is to use the healthy fats in avocados to help keep us full longer. The longer we are full, the less inclined we will go without cravings. The best part is that avocados will have minimal effect on your blood sugar and give you fiber.

Fresh Fruit

The cravings will come from time to time; we can’t prevent them every meal. But we can satisfy those cravings with something sweet. Fresh fruit has natural sugars that our bodies will love. But there are vitamins and minerals in fruit as well.

Jelly doesn’t sound like it’s too healthy, but you can find some healthy options in the grocery store. The goal here is to make a snack that hits a lot of the food groups.
