Where to Watch Fireworks in San Juan Capistrano | 4th of July Carnival
Every year, San Juan Capistrano holds a Fourth of July event that tops so many different lists. The 4th of July Carnival is hosted at the San Juan Capistrano Sports Park. This carnival has music, food vendors, beer and wine for adults, and over 15 mechanical rides and attractions.
The carnival gates open at different times during the run of the event, and official 2019 schedules have not been announced yet. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t expect the event to happen again this year and every year to come in the near future.
Where to Watch Fireworks in San Juan Capistrano | Sports Park
Obviously, the best seat in the city can be found at the San Juan Capistrano Sports Park. This is where the entire event takes place. Parking is usually easy to find, and canopies are even allowed in the back portion of the park.
This means you could set up your seating area, relax outside all day with friends and family, and then watch the fireworks at night. The Sports Park in San Juan Capistrano has a few different fields, and each one offers great viewing opportunities.
Kinoshita Elementary School
If you’d like to avoid the crowds, even if only by a bit, Kinoshita Elementary School is a great option. This school is located nearby, and you may be able to find a great viewing spot on the field.
This spot is close enough to where you will be able to see just about everything, and if you’re lucky, you may not have many people to crowd your night. However, the school is not advertised as a viewing location, so be sure to check with the school itself before making plans.
Marco Forster Middle School
Marco Forster Middle School is also located right near the parks where the Fourth of July event is being held. This means it could provide a great spot to watch the fireworks while also avoiding the crowds a bit.
Once again, the school is not listed as a viewing location so be sure to check with them before making any plans. However, if it is allowed, it would be a great location to watch the fireworks light up the sky.
