My diet is designed in a way to fuel and sustain me all day long. I make food choices that support my healthy relationship with food. I see the value of making appropriate meal choices in how I think, and how my body performs.
Because I love and respect my body and my self, I have a healthy relationship with food.
I choose to provide my body with nutrients and energy. My days at work are more productive when I eat natural and fresh foods. They keep my brain sharp, so I am able to concentrate on my tasks.
Although I sometimes have cravings for junk food, I only give in to these cravings every once in a while. It is important for my optimal health to eat these foods sparingly.
I Avoid Being Controlled By What I Eat
When my emotions are high, I ignore the urge to eat a lot of sugar. Although it sometimes gives me an energy boost, that lasts for only a short while. My food choices give me long-term vitality. I keep my emotions separate from my relationship with food.
Sometimes I gain weight during the colder seasons, but I avoid feeling disheartened by it. I stay away from starving myself in an effort to lose weight and instead choose a healthy relationship with food.
I know that it is wiser to eat varying portions of healthy foods in order to achieve specific weight goals.
This is easy for me because I research and buy foods that are beneficial to my health. Tracking my food is a skill I developed to help me maintain a healthy relationship with food.
Today, I am able to master my health because I make healthy food choices. It feels good to see the physical and mental results of making beneficial selections for my diet.
